The Relationality of Religion and Science

To answer the question ‘what is the religion-science relationship?’ we might start off by asking what ‘religion’ is and what ‘science’ is. However, the answer to those questions depends on the historical time period and other contexts. It turns out that these concepts are very fluid. Since we cannot say anything definitive about them, we might instead ask: what is ‘relationship’? What different types of relationship are there? Can we apply those types to the religion-science relationship to explain real-world situations? And what does the relational construct applied tell us about our own perspectives?
